SVI Minor Fastpitch Softball

Softball BC recently rendered a very important and positive decision that affects all SVI member Associations. Langford challenged the Softball BC - District 1 Minor Coordinator's decision to grant Recognized Minor Association status to the Vancouver Island Impact, a program for which she also acted as a Committee Member. Langford alleged that the Vancouver Island Impact's application did not meet the necessary criteria to be granted Association status and that the Softball BC - District 1  Minor Coordinator did not follow proper process under the Softball BC Handbook and therefore could not have properly approved the Vancouver Island Impact program's application. Softball BC decided in favour of Langford. The decision is outlined in the attached letter.
